How do I get an image under 1 MB (or a specific size)?
Switch to “Target size”, type your limit in KB (1024 KB ≈ 1 MB), and compress. The tool fine-tunes the quality automatically to land at or under your target without going over.
Will compressing ruin the quality?
No — at around 70% quality most photos look identical at normal viewing size but are far smaller. You see a live preview and the exact saving before you download, so you stay in control.
