Is this image cropper really free?
Yes — crop as many photos as you like, free, with no signup and no watermark. An optional Pro membership (NZ$9/mo) adds batch cropping and saved history, but the free tool is fully usable on its own.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The cropper runs entirely in your browser using a canvas, so your image never leaves your device. There is no server and nothing is stored online — which is exactly why it is safe for private photos, IDs or contracts.
Can I crop to a specific size or ratio?
Yes. Use the aspect presets — 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9 or 2:3 — to lock the crop box, or choose Free to crop to any shape by hand. The downloaded image matches the box you frame.
