Is this video reverser really free?
Yes — reverse as many clips as you like, free, with no signup and no watermark. An optional Paji Pro membership (NZ$9/mo) adds batch processing and higher-quality output, but the free tool is fully usable on its own.
Is my video uploaded anywhere?
No. Your video is read and reversed entirely in your browser using a local video engine. The file never leaves your device — there is no server and nothing is stored online.
Why does it warn me to use short clips?
Reversing has to hold the whole video in memory and rebuild it frame by frame, so it is far heavier than most edits. Short clips (a few seconds) reverse quickly; a long video can be very slow or run out of memory, especially on a phone. Trim it down first if you can.
Does the audio get reversed too?
Yes — both the video and its audio track are reversed, so speech and sounds play backwards along with the picture. If you only want the visuals reversed, mute the result with our Mute video tool.
What format do I get back?
The reversed clip is exported as an MP4 (H.264), which plays just about everywhere and drops straight into most editors and social apps.
My long video failed or stalled — what can I do?
Reversing a long or high-resolution clip can exhaust the browser. Trim it to the few seconds you actually want to reverse (try our Trim video tool), or compress it first, then reverse the smaller clip.
