Social Media Management — NZ
A real social media manager — not a junior with a Canva login. I post, reply, report, and grow your brand week after week.
If you are a busy NZ business owner and your social channels have gone quiet, this is what you need. Done-for-you, monthly retainer, no lock-in.
Who this is for
- NZ businesses with no in-house marketer
- Brands posting inconsistently and seeing flat growth
- Owners who want one point of contact, not an agency call tree
What you get
- 12–16 branded posts per month across Facebook & Instagram
- Reels strategy + 4 short-form videos / month
- Community management (replies + DMs, Mon–Fri)
- Monthly performance report with plain-English next steps
How it works
- STEP 1Discovery
60-min onboarding to capture your voice, offers, and audience.
- STEP 2Content plan
Monthly content calendar you approve in one click.
- STEP 3Publish & engage
I schedule, post, and reply for you all month.
- STEP 4Review
Monthly call to refine what works.
What a month of done-for-you social actually involves
Most of the work is invisible from the outside. Publishing a post takes minutes; deciding what deserves to be posted, keeping a consistent voice across dozens of pieces, and answering the people who respond is where the hours go. When businesses tell me their last arrangement went quiet, it is almost never the posting that stopped — it is the replying, which is the part that has no deadline and no obvious owner.
A month runs on a rhythm rather than a burst. The calendar is built and approved ahead of time so nothing is written the morning it goes out, and the queue always has enough in it that one busy week for you does not create a visible gap for your audience. Consistency is not a virtue for its own sake here — an account that posts unpredictably teaches the algorithm to stop showing it, and that decay is slow enough that most owners notice only once it is well advanced.
The report at the end of the month exists to answer one question: what should we do more of. A dashboard of numbers with no recommendation attached is a way of looking accountable without being useful.
Why the handover is the part that usually fails
Social management breaks down at the seams — the moments where something has to pass between you and me. A question in the comments that only you can answer. A promotion decided in a staff meeting I was not in. A photo on your phone that never made it anywhere. None of these are strategy problems, and all of them will flatten your results faster than a bad content plan.
So the onboarding call spends more time on how we will exchange information than on aspirational brand adjectives. One channel for approvals, one place for raw photos and videos, and an explicit rule about which enquiries I answer and which get escalated to you. This is unglamorous and it is the single strongest predictor of whether a retainer is still working in month eight.
No lock-in follows from the same logic. If the arrangement stops earning its place, a contract is a poor reason to keep it.
Frequently asked
- How is this different from a marketing agency?
- You deal directly with me. No account managers, no offshore content team, no surprise invoices.
- Do you write the content yourself?
- Yes — I draft, you approve. AI helps with first drafts, your brand voice gets the final pass from me.
- What platforms do you cover?
- Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok. I recommend the 2 platforms with the best fit for your audience rather than spreading thin.
- Is there a lock-in contract?
- No. Month-to-month. Cancel anytime with 30 days notice.
What clients are saying
Great perseverance
“It was great dealing with Amit and his team. They showed great resilience in selling during a tough market period with high interest-rate volatility. Always kept us in the loop and prompt with updates after open homes.”
