How to change audio volume
Drop a file, set the level, and download a louder or quieter version — all in your browser.
- 1
Open your audio
Drag in or browse for an MP3, WAV, M4A or OGG file. It stays on your device — nothing is uploaded.
- 2
Set the volume
Slide from 0% up to 300%, or tap a preset like 50%, 150% or 200%. 100% leaves it exactly as it was.
- 3
Pick MP3 or WAV
MP3 keeps it small for sharing; WAV stays lossless if you’ll edit it again afterwards.
- 4
Apply the volume
Hit Apply. The first run loads a one-time ~32MB engine, then a progress bar shows it working right in your browser.
- 5
Preview and download
Play the new version on the page, then download the louder or quieter file — no watermark, no signup.
Change Audio Volume — FAQ
Is this audio volume changer really free?
Yes — adjust the volume on as many files as you like, free, with no signup and no watermark. An optional Paji Pro membership (NZ$9/mo) adds bigger boosts, batch processing and saved presets, but the free tool stands on its own.
Is my audio uploaded anywhere?
No. Your file is decoded and re-rendered entirely in your browser with a local audio engine, so it never leaves your device. There is no server and nothing is stored online.
How loud can I make it, and will it distort?
You can push up to 300% (with Pro; the free tool goes to 200%). Boosting already-loud audio too far can clip and sound crunchy, so lift gently and have a listen on the page before you download.
Which files can I use, and what can I export?
Drop in common audio like MP3, WAV, M4A or OGG, then export the result as MP3 (smaller, shares everywhere) or WAV (lossless, best for more editing).
What would I actually use this for?
Plenty of everyday jobs — lifting a quiet phone voice memo so you can hear it, softening a recording that peaks too hard, or levelling a voiceover so it sits nicely under music before it goes on a property walkthrough.
Does it work on my phone, and why is a long file slow?
It runs in any modern mobile or desktop browser. Because everything happens on your device, very long files can take a moment — for the quickest result, trim to the part you need first.
