Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The zip is built entirely in your browser using JSZip, so your files never leave your device. There is no server and nothing is stored online — which is exactly why it is safe for sensitive documents.
What kind of files can I put in a zip?
Any files — Word and PDF documents, JPG and PNG photos, spreadsheets, audio, you name it. Mix and match in a single .zip. The folder order you set in the list is preserved inside the archive.
Why would I zip files for a NZ business or property deal?
A .zip keeps a set of files together so nothing gets lost in the back-and-forth — handy for sending a buyer the LIM, title and floor plan in one go, emailing a client all their invoices, or attaching a full set of tenancy documents in a single tidy file.
